Shipping & Returns


Patelbros.com Policies - Returns Policy

All claims must be made to our customer service department within five (5) days of delivery. Patelbros.com may request that the damaged items received be returned to us. Please keep the products and packing for this reason. If the items are not available, Patelbros.com will not be able to reship those damaged items. 

To request a return, contact our Customer Satisfaction Center at customerservice@patelbros.com. Please provide the following information in your email: customer name, order number, serial (SKU) number of product in question, and the nature of the problem.
 
If requested, please send the item in its original manufacturer's packaging to the following address:

Please note that Patelbros.com will only refund inbound/outbound shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. A standard UPS ground rate will be used to calculate the shipping refund amount based on the weight of the package. Flat rate shipping does not apply to return shipments. Upon arrival of the return shipment, items will be checked for damage and cost of return shipment will be confirmed before a refund is processed.

Your order will arrive via UPS-Ground service. Please note we pack orders approximately up to a maximum weight of 50 lbs. per box.

We only ship within the Contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. We do not take international orders at this time.

We have negotiated low shipping rates with UPS and we directly pass on those rates to you. When you enter your shipping address at checkout, you will be provided with the cost of shipping.  

Please note standard UPS ground shipping does not include Saturday/Sunday pick-up or delivery. Orders placed after 1pm on Friday will ship out Monday morning.

Once a package has shipped, Patel Brothers can not recover this package without a return to sender charge occurring. Packages that are returned to sender because customers were not home, refused delivery, or requested this option, will be charged $15.00. This amount along with the actual shipping charges from UPS will be deducted before any refund is issued. If the total return charges exceed the initial amount charged to the customer at checkout, we will charge the customer the difference in balance to recoup the loss.


UPS Ground Service policy now delivers to their local Access Points automatically if customers are not home upon delivery and live in areas labeled by UPS as access point accessible. These are usually in areas where large amounts of deliveries consistently go unanswered or in areas at high risk for theft. If a package is delivered to an access point, it is the customers responsibility to retrieve said package prior to it be sent back to sender. If the package is not picked up in a timely manner a return to sender will be issued and surcharges will incur. We ask customers who live in such areas to sign up for UPS MyChoice and have full control over their package. www.ups.com/MyChoice

Insurance

Every package (up to $50 in value) is insured by Patelbrothers.com. This applies to packages lost, damaged or stolen in transit. If you live in a high theft area, we strongly suggest you take the appropriate steps to safely receive your package: 

1. Request 'signature required' with your shipment.

2. Have your package delivered to a local UPS office as 'hold for customer pick-up'.

3. Have your package delivered to a friend that will be available to receive it. 

4. Sign up for UPS My Choice and choose a delivery time that fits your schedule.

 

Order Fulfillment

Please note from time to time product packaging is modified with the resulting changes not immediately updated in the online product photo. The product attributes such as size, quantity, form and/or origin will always be consistent with the online photo and description. 

We process, pack and ship all orders within 48 hours of receipt. If there is a problem with your order, someone from our customer service team will contact you immediately.
